The Department of Science and Technology – CALABARZON respects your right to privacy and the confidentiality of your information. This Privacy Notice informs you of the use of your personal information when collected for the RSTIW 2024 Event.

Executive Order No. 128 mandates the Department to “provide central direction, leadership and coordination of scientific and technological efforts and ensure that the results therefrom are geared and utilized in areas of maximum economic and social benefits for the people”. DOST implements programs, projects and activities to realize this mandate. DOST Regional Office No. IV-A or DOST CALABARZON operates within the CALABARZON Region.

The Event Registration Website (https://events.dostcentral.ph) is an information system developed and used by DOST CALABARZON to gather stakeholder/participants’ basic personal information such as name, e-mail address, affiliation, age range, sex, classification and region, during its events.

These data are collected by DOST-CALABARZON in its legitimate interest to manage the event and profile attendees. Data collected may be used to generate accomplishment reports and technical reports. Live streaming videos and photos may also be posted to DOST's social media platforms and official websites.

We ensure that the personal information collected is secured and will only be shared to the DOST Central Office, DOST Regional Offices and resource speakers, as appropriate.

Information will be kept for a maximum of two years only and will be deleted at mentioned information system database.
